East London has the highest birth rate in the UK. Our health and care services must fully support this growth and continue to ensure the best possible outcomes for mothers and babies. Help us understand the experiences of women and pregnant people, by completing our survey. The maternity survey is for those who have been pregnant or given birth in the past three years. The maternity advocates survey is for those people working in maternity services and supporting or advocating for women and pregnant people.
Whilst the survey is open to everyone, we are looking in particular to understand the experiences of people from minority or marginalised groups when accessing and experiencing maternity services.
Feel free to share the surveys with colleagues, partners, voluntary organisations or groups who might like to contribute.
The survey will close on 19 August 2022, and is led by Healthwatch, an independent organisation, set up to ensure NHS decision makers listen to feedback and improve standards of care, and will inform the maternity equity and equality action plan.
