The People’s Panel is a network of over 2,400 north east Londoners who provide us with feedback, insight and information to help us improve health and care services

What does the People's Panel do?
Members of the People’s Panel:
- participate in improving health and care locally
- get involved flexibly around their own schedule
- help us design new health and care projects
- meet other local people who want to make a difference

Who can take part in the People's Panel?
To join the People’s Panel you must:
- be over the age of 18
- live or work in:
- City and Hackney
- Tower Hamlets
- Newham
- Waltham Forest
- Redbridge
- Havering
- Barking and Dagenham
What happens when you sign-up?
All members of the People’s Panel receive a newsletter each month filled with different ways to have a say and share experiences to health and care. Information will vary each month, but members might be invited to:
- take part in quick surveys at a time to suit them
- join a one-time focus group session
- participate in designing new health and care projects on a longer-term basis
There is never any obligation to take part in the activities in the newsletter, but signing up means that you won’t miss a chance to share your thoughts on topics that may impact you and those around you.
How do we use feedback from the panel?
Your feedback and involvement in the panel helps us shape health and care plans and local services. This feedback is provided back to senior staff within the health and care system across north east London and in each borough.
We also regularly share insight back to members of the People’s Panel so you can see what other members of the panel have told us.
