Healthwatch
Healthwatch is the independent national champion for people who use health and social care.
There is a local Healthwatch in every area of England. By sharing your experiences and ideas with your local Healthwatch you can influence the way health and care services are run.
Your local Healthwatch
There are eight local Healthwatch organisations in north east London, working to give local people an opportunity to influence and challenge decision made about local services:
- Healthwatch Barking and Dagenham
- Healthwatch City of London
- Healthwatch Hackney
- Healthwatch Havering
- Healthwatch Newham
- Healthwatch Redbridge
- Healthwatch Tower Hamlets
- Healthwatch Waltham Forest
We work very closely with all of our local Healthwatch organisations to ensure that we address the issues they raise about local NHS services. We use insight from local Healthwatch reports to influence our planning and ensure that Healthwatch are key partners in the development of services.
Healthwatch has gathered feedback from local people and produced reports and data summaries on GP and hospital services. They also look at other areas like mental health, maternity, long-term conditions, children and young people, disabilities, social care, and carers.
The latest reports—updated every three months—are available on the ‘Your area‘ section of this website.
