If you are struggling with your mental health you are not alone. Many people will experience mental health problems at some point in their life and this can be for a variety of reasons.

Symptoms of mental health problems

There are many different symptoms of mental health problems including:

  • Grief after bereavement or loss

  • Signs of an anxiety disorder
  • Hallucinations and hearing voices

  • The Samaritans are there to listen at any time of the day or night. You can talk to them confidentially about anything that’s troubling you, no matter how difficult. Call them for free on 116 123.
  • Shout offers confidential 24/7 crisis text support for times when you need immediate assistance. Text SHOUT to 85258.
    Mental health charity, Mind, has a range of useful information and resources for a variety of mental health conditions. Mind also run mental health services in local communities. Anyone can get in touch – you don’t need to have a GP referral.
  • Hestia provides a wide range of services in Redbridge to empower residents, including access to free mental health support for individuals aged 18 and above, with on need to book an appointment. Call  020 3031 6501  to find out more or email: Redbridge.RecoveryHub@hestia.org
