Greenhouse practice in Hackney hosts Christmas fair to help those in need

Greenhouse GP surgery in Hackney is asking for donations of long-life food, toiletries, blankets and warm clothes to give to those in need during its Christmas fair. The practice is focussing on those not registered with a practice, such as the homeless or rough sleepers.

The Christmas fair, hosted by the doctors, is for anyone living in hostels, temporary accommodation, sleeping on sofas, those who live on the street or any other public location. There will be clothing for men, women and children, as well as health checks, free hair cuts and flu jabs.

Greenhouse practice is part of East London NHS Foundation Trust, which runs mental health services in Hackney, City of London, Tower Hamlets and Newham. It also operates as a primary care outlet providing care in City & Hackney.

The Christmas fair will be held at Greenhouse GP surgery (19 Tudor Rd, London E9 7SN) on Friday 9 December 2022. Anyone wishing to make a donation can visit Greenhouse during business hours before that date. For those interested in volunteering, please call 020 8510 4490.
