As of 1 April the seven CCGs in north east London have formally come together as one new clinical commissioning group for NEL – the NHS North East London Clinical Commissioning Group (NHS NEL CCG). This will allow us to work in a more joined up and collaborative way, building on the achievements of the North East London Commissioning Alliance.
NHS NEL CCG will continue to be a clinically led organisation with strong clinical leadership and a GP voice at all levels. There will be one NEL CCG governing body with many decisions taking place through local governance arrangements, find out more here.
