Monthly expenditure over £30,000

As part of the Government’s commitment to improve transparency of how public funds are used, we are required by HM Treasury to publish details of all individual invoices, grant payments, expense payments or other such transactions that are over £30,000. This data is published monthly in arrears, starting with April 2022.

Tenders, procurement and contracts

NHS North East London is responsible for securing safe, high quality and effective healthcare services for the population of Barking and Dagenham, City and Hackney, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, and Waltham Forest.

Procurement is one of a range of mechanisms for securing safe services that meet the needs of the population whilst improving health outcomes and reducing inequalities. The process of specifying a service and identifying the appropriate provider or providers to deliver the service is called procurement. We need to commission the best provider to deliver these services to our population.

Where competitive procurement is the chosen route, this will be the result of a clear and transparent process, which will follow the NHS North East London Procurement Policy.

We adopt a variety of procurement processes including Any Qualified Provider (AQP), competitive and non-competitive tendering, and Direct Award.

New contract opportunities will be advertised on the UK Government tenders website. We will also publish notices of contract awards on this website
