Respiratory services are there to support people living with conditions which affect their breathing.
This includes conditions such as:
Depending on which service you visit you may be seen by a range of respiratory specialists including specialist nurses, physiotherapists, dieticians and physiologists.
They can assess, treat and help you to manage your condition at home and prevent you from needing to go to hospital. They can also support you with accessing home oxygen therapy if you need to.
If you are living with a respiratory illness which affects your breathing, you may be eligible for this service.
Speak to your GP or health care professional to see if they can refer you to your nearest respiratory service.
