Womb Cancer Awareness Campaign
The North East London Cancer Alliance is working with the Eve Appeal charity on a campaign to increase awareness of the signs and symptoms of womb cancer among women in north east London.
Women who are Black, Asian or from a minority ethnic group are currently less likely to survive womb cancer in the UK than others.
We are aiming to tackle this and are looking for women over the age of 45 living in north east London from the Black African, Black Caribbean, or South Asian communities to join a face-to-face focus group session from 10am to 2pm on 17 November at Mintel House, 4 Playhouse Yard, London EC4V 5E
In recognition of participants’ time, gift vouchers to the value of £100 will be given to each individual that takes part in the focus group. Travel expenses to get to and from the venue will also be covered. At this session, we will ask for feedback on campaign messaging, images and concepts. Please share this invite with family, friends and colleagues.
If anyone is interested in joining the focus group or if you would like further information, please contact: Sherrice Weekes, Project Manager, North East London Cancer Alliance via email at sherriceweekes@nhs.net
