Stamford Hill Charedi community health day will take place on Sunday 26 February 2023, from 10am-5.30pm at both Spring Hill and Stamford Hill Group practices. The event is in conjunction with the North East Hackney Primary Care Network, NHSE and Hackney Public Health with funding being provided by NHS England. View the flyer that can be shared.
The following will be offering:
- Health Checks for over 40’s if a patient at Cranwich road surgery, Spring Hill or Stamford Hill Group practices – blood tests to check for cholesterol and diabetes, blood pressure and height and weight (BMI checks)
For all residents:
- A nurse will be available to administer Flu vaccinations and discuss general family health concerns
- Childhood immunisation clinics
- Year 9 immunisation clinics
- Dassy Josebashvili from Venishmartem is providing Kosher Nutrition/weight management advice
- The dental health stall will be providing interactive workshops and free Kosher toothbrush packs
- Free bike checks and basic repairs
- Residents will be signposted to the nearest community pharmacy and offered support on COVID-19 vaccinations
