Inspectors from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) have taken the decision to change the rating of Salisbury Avenue Healthcare from ‘Good’ to ‘Inadequate’, following recent inspections.
Inspectors carried out a series of inspections between 1 December 2022 and 9 January 2023 and have since instructed the practice to make a number of improvements. The full report can be viewed here.
We are working closely with the practice on an action plan to address the issues raised by the CQC as quickly as possible and to minimise the impact this will have on patients.
The CQC will re-inspect the practice again within the next six months to ensure sufficient progress has been made and we will do everything we can to support the practice to improve in that time.
In the meantime, patients will still be able to see a GP or practice nurse when they need to, so should continue to book and attend all appointments as usual.
