The Mental Health Investment Standard (MHIS), set by NHS England, requires all CCGs in England to increase their planned spending on Mental Health services by a greater proportion than their overall increase in budget allocation each year.
Across north east London, we are committed to improving the mental health and wellbeing of our local people. We can confirm that we have met the Mental Health Investment Standard in 2019/20 for all seven former CCG areas within north east London, and remain committed to investing in mental health services following our move to a single CCG from 1 April 2021.
