Polio vaccination sites open in Hackney

Due to the detection of the poliovirus in sewage in London recently, it is important to ensure everyone is updated with their polio vaccine. There are signs that the virus is spreading in London and the number of children vaccinated in London is lower than it should be. The risk of getting polio remains extremely low, but the chance of getting ill from polio is higher if you are not fully vaccinated.

Vaccination sites are now open in Hackney. Visit one of the three to get your child’s polio vaccination today:

Homerton University Hospital, E9 6SR
