Working in the NHS and in communications
As part of an NHS communications and engagement team you will help change lives by telling people about NHS services and helping communities be healthier.
We have two new entry-level communications assistant roles in our team at North East London Clinical Commissioning Group (the NHS organisation that plan health services in north east London) where you will support the team whilst developing experience in communications and engagement. We are looking for creative people with a positive approach who are organised, have good writing ability and are ready to get stuck in! No previous experience of working in the NHS or communications is required.
Communications involves lots of things including talking with our local communities to understand what they think about things like vaccines or their local hospital – in person but on also on social media; helping different parts of the NHS, like hospitals and GPs, to communicate with each other by writing high quality newsletters; and managing the reputation of our staff and organisations with politicians and the media by helping organise meetings and writing briefings and press releases. And much more!
