Improvement works at SMA Medical Centre in Leyton are now complete after the practice was awarded a £10,800 NHS grant.
The practice has had a big increase in patient numbers, and some new staff joining the team, so they have created a brand new consultation room and kitchenette for staff.
To improve access to the building for patients or staff with mobility issues, automated entrance and corridor doors have also been installed.
The grant was awarded as part of £3.62m package of investment to support a number of GP surgeries across north east London to make improvements to their practices as well as to support improvements to their digital infrastructure.
