The Tulasi Medical Centre, which operates from Ripple Road in Barking and Bennett’s Castle Lane and Parsloes Avenue in Dagenham, has temporarily been placed under new management following recent visits by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
After inspecting the practice, the CQC has changed the rating of the surgery from Good to Inadequate, instructing it to make a number of improvements. Please follow this link to read the full CQC report.
To ensure patients can continue to access safe, high quality GP services, an experienced management team has taken over running the practice, temporarily, while the necessary improvements are made.
Patient safety is our utmost priority. We are working closely with the practice on an action plan to address the issues raised by the CQC and to minimise the impact this will have on patients.
All patients of Tulasi Medical Centre will be able to see a GP or practice nurse when they need to and should continue to book and attend all appointments as usual. They will not need to re-register with the practice.
If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to your local surgery.
