Charlotte Harrison became a consultant in Perinatal Mental Health in 2018 at South West London and St Georges Mental Health Trust following 15 years as the clinical lead for the Phoenix High Dependency Rehabilitation Unit and the Wandsworth Rehabilitation and Recovery Service, which provides care and treatment for people suffering from a severe and enduring mental illness. She provided medical leadership between November 2019 and March 2021 as the Interim Medical Director before returning to her role as the Deputy Medical Director. She became the Clinical Director for Acute and Urgent in November 2021. She is the co-Mental Health Lead for both Adults and Children in SW London Health and Care Partnership and the co-chair of the CYPMH Covid-19 Recovery Group.
Charlotte undertook her medical degree at Nottingham University and trained at Oxfordshire Mental Health trust as well as at South West London and St Georges Mental Health Trust. She gained her Postgraduate Certificate of Healthcare Education from St Georges University in 2007, her Masters of Business Administration from Imperial Business School in 2011 and has completed NHS Improvement’s Aspiring Medical Director Programme. She has been a trustee of 2Care and the Secondary Care Consultant for the North East London Joint Clinical Commissioning Committee between 2019 and 2021.
