What does being a member of the North East London Citizens’ Panel involve?

Completing a short survey every month or so. We know your time is valuable so we make sure that our surveys take no more than 10 minutes to complete.

The surveys will be on different health or social care topics and by completing one you will help decision makers hear from people who live in the area to inform how they make their decisions.

You can fill them out on your phone or computer at a time and place that suits you, so being on the panel can fit around your other commitments.

You do not have to complete every survey, but every time you do your voice and views are being heard and considered.

We will also always let you know the results of your involvement and how your feedback will be used. We may occasionally ask if panel members would like to be part of a focus group, but participation is optional.

How will you use my data?

Your personal data will be held securely and not be shared with any third parties.

By signing up to the Citizens’ Panel you agree that your personal data can be used to send you surveys and emails that we believe you may be interested in.

Your responses will be linked to the demographic information you supply when you register with the panel, but your responses will be anonymous as we use unique ID codes rather than individuals names to analyse the surveys.

You do not have to complete all the surveys if you do not wish to. Your responses will be used to help the local NHS and health and care providers design and provide services that are right for our local community.
