Compliments and Complaints

We want to hear about your experience of NHS services in north east London.

Your feedback helps us understand what is working well and where services can improve.

Before you contact us

North East London Integrated Care Board (ICB) plans and commissions NHS services. We do not directly provide most NHS care.

If your feedback is about a hospital, GP practice, dentist, pharmacy, mental health service or community service, it is usually best to contact the organisation that provided your care first as they are best placed to provide a full resolution to your complaint.

Get independent support

If you would like help raising a concern or making a complaint, you can contact an NHS complaints advocacy service.

Advocacy services are free, independent and confidential. They can help you understand the complaints process and support you to make your complaint.

Making a complaint

We understand it can be frustrating to wait for a response. There is no need to contact us for an update. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

If after having made a complaint you are unhappy with the response, the next step is to contact the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) within 12 months for an independent review.

You can contact them here: PHSO Contact Page

If you wish to make another complaint, for a new issue, please submit another form.

Making an enquiry

We welcome all feedback and use it to help improve NHS services for local people.
